The Judge Group is seeking a HiveMQ Platform Engineer DevOps to install, configure, and administer HiveMQ Enterprise MQTT Broker on RHEL/Linux servers in DMZ environments and AWS EKS. You will design HA HiveMQ clusters, configure node discovery, health checks, and failover, and deploy workloads on Kubernetes.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions, manage Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and Secrets, and implement monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying HiveMQ on Linux and cloud environments.
• Proficient with HA clustering, load balancing, TLS, and MQTT security.
• Strong DevOps automation and CI/CD experience.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure, and administer HiveMQ Enterprise on Linux in DMZ and AWS EKS.
• Design and maintain highly available HiveMQ clusters with proper failover.
• Deploy workloads on Kubernetes and manage load balancers for MQTT traffic.
• Configure authentication, TLS certificates, and secure communication.
• Automate installations, deployments, and maintenance with Bash or Python.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions and manage Helm charts.
• Monitor HiveMQ health, throughput, and broker performance with Prometheus/Grafana.
• Collaborate with infra, networking, security, and app teams for reliable MQTT messaging.

Job Description: HiveMQ Platform Engineer DevOps

• 1. Install, configure, and administer HiveMQ Enterprise MQTT Broker on RHEL/Linux servers in DMZ environments and AWS EKS.
• 2. Design, implement, and maintain highly available (HA) HiveMQ clusters.
• 3. Configure HiveMQ clustering, node discovery, health checks, and failover mechanisms.
• 4. Deploy and manage HiveMQ workloads on Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
• 5. Configure HAProxy, NGINX, or AWS load balancers for MQTT traffic.
• 6. Manage Linux services, systemd, firewall rules, ports, DNS, and network connectivity.
• 7. Configure MQTT authentication, authorization, TLS certificates, and secure communication.
• 8. Automate installations, deployments, configuration, and maintenance using Bash or Python.
• 9. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• 10. Manage Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and resource configurations.
• 11. Monitor HiveMQ cluster health, message throughput, client connections, and broker performance.
• 12. Implement logging, alerting, and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tools.
• 13. Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• 14. Execute platform upgrades, patching, backup planning, and disaster recovery procedures.
• 15. Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to ensure reliable MQTT messaging.
