Job summary

The City of Baltimore's HIV/STI Surveillance Supervisor leads BCHD’s Surveillance efforts, overseeing reportable STI and HIV case intake, triage, and data quality. You will supervise program coordinators and staff, ensuring accurate reporting to the Maryland Department of Health and effective surveillance operations.

You will collaborate with state partners, community organizations, and clinical partners to reduce HIV/STI incidence in the city, while guiding program initiatives and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Four years of professional-level administrative, operations, or technical work experience.
• Equivalency notes allowed: equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and review STI and HIV case finding and reporting.
• Ensure efficient triage to partner services.
• Coordinate with Maryland Department of Health on STI/HIV surveillance.
• Develop reports on case status, epidemiology, and quality assurance.
• Assist with partner services investigations as needed.
• Oversee perinatal HIV and congenital syphilis investigations and prevention activities.
