Job summary

Bay Area Community Health (BACH) is seeking a Program Manager to coordinate HIV programs, oversee Ryan White grant reporting, and supervise staff across clinical and outreach functions. The role emphasizes collaboration with planning, development and community partners to improve services for HIV+ patients.

The position requires experience with HIV programs, grant management and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• College degree in Public Health, Social Welfare, Psychology, Sociology, or related health field.
• Five years of related experience coordinating an HIV or HIV-related program.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of work with HIV+ populations, active substance users, homeless individuals, and other vulnerable groups.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting HIV testing and/or HIV prevention outreach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Ryan White grant(s) and program-related reporting.
• Coordinate, implement, tailor and evaluate program activities to meet goals.
• Participate in hiring, training, supervising and evaluating program staff.
• Report to Clinic Manager to ensure high-quality care and timely service.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidential patient files.
• Coordinate with satellite sites and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor contracts and budgets to ensure goals and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare program data reports for agency and funders as required.
• Support grant writing and planning activities.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
