Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional social work experience.
• Maryland LCSW license required at time of application; LCSW-Clinical may be required for some positions.
• Education beyond a master's degree may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Knowledge of social work theories, programs, resources, and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of direct professional social work services to specialized populations (children, seniors, substance abusers, mentally ill).
• Manage cases for clients in the Case Management Program; assess, evaluate, and monitor needs.
• Develop treatment/service plans and coordinate access to health and support services.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and linkage to community supports.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure program standards are met.
• Collaborate with health and social services to ensure continuity of care.
• Evaluate eligibility for emergency financial assistance and advocate for clients.
