Inova Fairfax Juniper program is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist II to join a dedicated team serving individuals living with HIV. This full-time day shift completes a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
• Two years of experience in mental health/substance use disorder treatment.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire; CPI certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders using evidence-based assessments and plan of care.
• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions and psycho-educational programming to support patient goals.
• Provide care management to connect patients/families with healthcare and community resources.
• Participate in inpatient/community psychoeducational programs and facilitate support groups as needed.
