Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Hitch Service Technician in Grand Rapids, MI to install and explain towing options at our Moving and Storage Center. You will work with customers, use hand and power tools, and ensure safety standards are met.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a High School Diploma or equivalent, with opportunities for hands-on training and ongoing education. This is a full-time, on-site position with available bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages.
• Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
