Job summary

U-Haul in Seattle is seeking a Hitch Service Technician to provide outstanding service using technical expertise in our Moving and Storage Center. You will explain towing options, install appropriate tow packages, and support customers with a focus on safety and reliability.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and basic wiring/hand tool experience. This role emphasizes hands-on work, safety, and ongoing U-Haul education, with a compensation range of $21.30–$23.50 per hour and benefits

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages.
• Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
