Job Summary:

The Histotechnologist, under general supervision, is responsible for preparing microscopic slides for diagnostic purposes, performing diagnostic tests, maintaining laboratory equipment and records, and providing instruction and support to others. Candidates should possess a working knowledge of histologic techniques, including Immunohistochemistry and Special Stain techniques, histology automation, and have excellent knowledge of the AP LIS system.

Requirements:

• ASCP certification preferred
• Prior histology experience
