A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Histotechnologist to prepare and analyze patient tissue samples. The role involves maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control, and participating in training. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and preferably one year of experience in an acute care setting. Performs tasks required for receiving, processing, and preparing patient tissue samples for microscopic examination and analysis by the Pathologist.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with coursework meeting the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) requirements for Histotechnologist certification.
Preferred: One year of experience in an acute care facility as a Histotechnologist or Histotechnician.
HTL(ASCP)
Exposure to blood-borne pathogens is expected.
Physical Demands: Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
