Job summary

Regions Hospital is looking for a self-motivated Histotechnician to join their Histopathology Department in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The candidate will be responsible for processing surgical pathology specimens and maintaining laboratory operations. Required qualifications include an Associates degree in Histotechnology and ASCP board certification. Preferred qualifications include one year of relevant experience and knowledge in immunohistochemistry. Benefits include medical insurance, 401K, and fitness center access.

Qualifications

• ASCP or ASCPi certification as a Histotechnician or Histotechnologist required.
• One year of full-time acceptable experience in a histopathology laboratory preferred.
• Prior experience in processing small specimens and IHC/DIF is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process small non-complex specimens as outlined by the medical director.
• Perform and maintain laboratory tests and equipment.
• Carry out related duties as assigned in a histology laboratory.
