Job summary

QualDerm Partners in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking an experienced histology technician to prepare tissue specimens for routine and special procedures under the pathologist's guidance. You will assist with receipt and accessioning, printing cassettes, slides, and labels, and ensure accurate case handling and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue slides and blocks for microscopic examination.
• Perform quality assurance checks and ensure slide/block match with patient requisition information.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments for tissue processing and paraffin embedding.
• Maintain QC/QA records and CLIA documentation.
• Record and log cases in the biopsy book and ensure proper documentation.
