Medical Technologist - Histology - NEW Histotech OR Histology Technician Opening at a state of the art laboratory in Eastern Wisconsin!

This laboratory prides itself on using the most innovative technologies and techniques available. In addition, this laboratory is fully automated and is able to provide more consistent and accurate results. Their technology enables patient safety efforts through a barcode system that tracks specimens as they move through the lab, reducing the risk of errors. The growing laboratory has locations throughout the Midwest and the East Coast but is hiring for their Wisconsin-based laboratory.

This is a permanent and full-time position on either day (first), evening (second), or night (third) shift! The histotech will be responsible for complex histological procedures and techniques such as grossing, cutting, staining, drying, and freezing, as well as preparing tissue specimens for routine and special procedures. Applicants should have HT or HTL ASCP Certification and an Associate's Degree in Histology or a related field.

Applicants without certification will ALSO be considered! The laboratory has resources to help individuals obtain ASCP, providing an incredible opportunity.
