Qualifications

• Minimum one year of work experience in a medical office, required.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations including HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Supports the diagnostic evaluation of tissue by histological procedures.
• Performs a variety of specialized histopathological procedures.
• Embedding, cryotomy, staining and coverslipping.
• Immunohistochemistry staining where offered.
• Maintain Mohs lab logs and quality control records.
• Conducts safety and quality assurance activities.
