Job summary

Fusion Academy, a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12, seeks a History Teacher for its Oak Brook campus. You’ll design creative lessons, shape schedules, and collaborate with passionate colleagues to personalize education—academically, socially, and emotionally. Some campuses may serve grades 4 and 5; details shared during interview.

Responsibilities include teaching diverse World/U.S. History, Government, and Economics, mentoring students, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (World and U.S. History, Government, and Economics), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
