KIPP Capital Region Public Schools seeks a History Lead Teacher for Albany, NY campuses. You will lead curriculum development for grades 9-12 and drive instructional excellence across AP and US History offerings.

The role emphasizes rigorous standards, data-informed decisions, and strong collaboration with teachers, families, and campus leadership to ensure students graduate ready for college and career. You'll design unit plans, assessments, and rubrics; monitor progress and provide timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University, required.
• Valid NYS Teaching Licensure or willingness to pursue state certification, required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a school educator, preferred.
• Experience in charter or public schools is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule outside of regular business hours.
• Inclusive environment that honors diversity of backgrounds and perspectives.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement standards-aligned history curriculum.
• Create unit plans, rubrics and assessments for History courses.
