Job summary

Chattanooga State is seeking adjunct history instructors to teach college classes at area high schools. Courses may be delivered on-ground, virtually, online, or hybrid, under the supervision of the Department Head and Lead Faculty.

Responsibilities include maintaining a positive learning environment, recording attendance, evaluating student work, and assigning grades while adhering to college policies and the Adjunct Faculty Handbook.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Doctorate from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 graduate credit hours in history.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned college classes in area high schools, maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Deliver instruction using on-ground, virtual, online, and hybrid formats.
• Maintain attendance records, evaluate student performance, and assign mid-term and final grades.
