Qualifications

• Master's degree in History or related field; 18 graduate credit hours in History.
• Ability to teach and work with diverse individuals.
• Experience with Canvas and Pathway LMS.
• Knowledge of multiple instructional delivery modes.
• Effective communication with faculty, staff and students; proficient with MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage syllabi using UMKC Syllabus Generator or templates.
• Select and compile tests and assignments to measure student outcomes.
• Submit syllabi to department to ensure compliance with UMKC standards.
• Coordinate courseware with department chair; review textbooks and updates.
• Maintain and update content on Canvas for all assigned courses.
• Use Canvas to engage students and support learning outcomes.
• Maintain timely student assessment and feedback.
• Check college email and communicate with students and staff.
• Enter final grades into Canvas and Pathway; provide gradebooks on deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
