Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in History (or related field) from a regionally accredited institution required.
• Doctorate preferred.
• Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in history following department course descriptions and outlines.
• May include day/evening and online/hybrid instruction.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives such as assessment and grade submissions.
• Respond to requests regarding grades, course content, and related duties.
• Show evidence of academic achievement and/or recognition when requested.
