Job summary

The County College of Morris Foundation is seeking an Adjunct Instructor - Business to support teaching in alignment with department course outlines. The role includes creating an engaging learning environment and following the Adjunct Faculty collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities include teaching assigned courses with possible day/evening and hybrid schedules, as well as participation in departmental activities. A Master’s Degree is required, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in appropriate discipline required.
• Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to tutor in learning centers as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Create a dynamic teaching/learning environment for students.
• Teach assigned courses and follow course outlines.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and other duties.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of current developments in discipline

Ability to teach lab courses

Education

Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution

Doctorate preferred
