Job Description

The Historical Tour Guides will conduct private and public tours of the hotel, enhancing guests' visits through engaging entertainment and experiences that reflect the spirit of the destination. They will collaborate with the Events Leadership team on various projects, focusing on creating experiences that foster an entrepreneurial spirit and add value.

Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities

• Lead daily historical tours
• Create memorable experiences for guests of all ages, treating each day like an event
• Provide entertainment for children and adults, indoors and outdoors, year-round
• Follow departmental policies and procedures to ensure quality guest experiences
• Coordinate smoothly with other departments as needed

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent attendance records for activities

Marketing Responsibilities

• Support the Marketing Department and Activities Concierge Desk by providing information about events and activities

Customer Service Responsibilities

• Address customer complaints or concerns personally and ensure proper resolution
• Communicate event issues to the customer service team with instructions for resolution

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional service
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and adaptability to unexpected situations
• Punctuality and reliability
• Ability to remain calm and friendly under stress
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
