Job summary

MacAllister Machinery Co., Inc. is seeking a dedicated vintage car technician to maintain, repair, and restore classic road and race cars from 1910 to 1970.

The role involves supporting events in the US and abroad, including road rallies and race weekends, with emphasis on precision and cleanliness in the workshop. Ideal candidates will have 10 years in automobile work, exposure to high-level racing, and proven experience with classic/vintage repair, plus a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience working on automobiles.
• Experience in racing at a high level.
• Classic/Vintage car repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and prepare 11-12 Historic Race cars for use at 5-7 events annually.
• Support race cars at race events in the US and overseas.
• Support Classic cars on road rallies as needed.
• Restore, repair, and maintain 100 plus motorcycles.
• Maintain 60 plus Vintage cars in collection.
• Maintain, repair and clean all Classic seasonal driving cars.
• Clean and check all everyday road cars.
• Maintain workshop in a clean and tidy Manner.
• Occasional overnight travel.
