Job summary

Conservation Legacy is hosting a Build Up participant at Fort Pulaski National Monument to work on site with the park's Resource Management and Preservation Maintenance teams. This hourly position focuses on technical writing, drafting, and hands-on preservation tasks for historic structures and site elements.

The role emphasizes use of hand and power tools, with training and supervision provided. Start date is 10/19/2026 and end date 03/05/2027, fully on-site, at $25/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in using hand and power tools in outdoor setting.
• Flexibility to work outside traditional hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Technical writing and drafting for upcoming site projects.
• Maintenance support to Preservation Maintenance team.
• Masonry, carpentry, woodwork, plaster, metal, and painting of historic structures.
