Responsibilities include caulking, joint sealing, tuckpointing, and related restoration tasks on historic structures, with emphasis on safety while working on scaffolding and ladders. Experience with backer rods and sealants is required.

Qualifications

Experience caulking, joint sealing, and tuckpointing in a commercial setting.
Extensive experience using a caulking gun and basic hand tools.
Ability to work safely on scaffolding and ladders.
Knowledge of backer rods and 2-part sealants applicability.
Skills in masonry, commercial carpentry, drywall, and brick painting.

Responsibilities

Perform caulking, joint sealing, and tuckpointing in a commercial setting.
Demonstrate extensive experience using a caulking gun and basic hand tools.
Work safely and confidently on scaffolding.
Identify and work with various sizes and types of backer rods.
Understand the differences between bulk, sausage, and tube products, and the application of 2-part sealants.
Apply skills in masonry, commercial carpentry, drywall, and brick painting.
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on construction sites.
Accurately judge straight lines, spacing, and proportions.
