Worcester Eisenbrandt (WEI), a historic restoration contractor, is seeking experienced caulkers, pointers, and restoration mechanics to join our team in the DMV metro area.

Caulker / Pointer / Restoration Mechanic – Historic Restoration

Worcester Eisenbrandt (WEI), a historic restoration construction company, is seeking experienced Caulkers, Pointers, and Restoration Mechanics to join our team in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) metropolitan area.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform caulking, joint sealing, and tuckpointing in a commercial setting
• Demonstrate extensive experience using a caulking gun and basic hand tools
• Work safely and confidently on scaffolding
• Identify and work with various sizes and types of backer rods
• Understand the differences between bulk, sausage, and tube products, and the application of 2-part sealants
• Apply skills in masonry, commercial carpentry, drywall, and brick painting
• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on construction sites
• Accurately judge straight lines, spacing, and proportions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding
• Use hands and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate tools and materials
• Maintain good visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses
• Lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs., with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. when required
