Savannah Technical College seeks a part‑time Adjunct Historic Preservation instructor for the Savannah Campus. The instructor teaches in classroom, laboratory, and construction environments, delivering instruction, live demonstrations, and assessing student progress.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architecture, Architectural History or related field, plus three years of historic preservation/restoration work in the past seven years; excellent verbal

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architecture, Architectural History or related field.
Three years of Historic Preservation and Restoration work experience within the past seven years.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsabilités

Teach students in classroom, laboratory, and construction environments.
Prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction; develop syllabi, goals, and objectives.
Deliver instruction, perform live lab demonstrations, and assess student progress.
Coordinate and oversee off-campus occupational experiences.
Ensure safety and security in classroom and lab; maintain documentation.
