Tryon Palace in New Bern, NC seeks an experienced Historical Interpreter III to lead daily tours and provide interpretive programs across site buildings. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus four years of experience giving or developing museum tours.
• Equivalent education/experience may qualify per vacancy language.

Responsabilités

• Deliver daily tours and interpret site history across buildings.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers; manage schedules.
• Oversee safety duties as Certified Safety Officer for 18th-19th century arms.
• Assist with budgeting and event planning as needed.
• Represent NC DNCR professionally to visitors and partners.
