Holland America-Princess invites motivated guides to join our Juneau and Skagway operations as Gold Panning Guide and Driver. You will entertain guests with a historical narration while guiding a short city tour and leading them to the gold panning site.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle inspections, courteous loading, daily site maintenance, and strict adherence to safety policies, DOT requirements, and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing roles and guiding tours.
• Ability to convey history and engage an audience.
• Attention to safety procedures and equipment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip DVIR vehicle inspections.
• Address customer service issues calmly and professionally.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Follow traffic laws and ensure safety equipment is present.
• Load/unload guests safely and courteously.
• Maintain the gold panning site and tools.
• Deliver entertaining, informative narration on local history.
• Foster a positive work environment and comply with safety policies.
• Meet DOT medical requirements and drug testing prerequisites.
