This role is part of the DPAA Lab Support Services to support the recovery and identification of missing service members. Requires a Master’s degree in history (Doctoral preferred) and 6–8 years of professional historical research, including archival work, oral histories, and complex source

Qualifications

• Master's degree in history or related field; doctoral degree preferred.
• Minimum 6–8 years of professional historical research experience.
• Experience with archival and documentary sources, and oral histories.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex historical research into casualty resolution and unidentified remains.
• Conduct documentary research, oral histories, and archival work.
• Prepare reports and briefings for agency leadership; travel as needed.
