Qualifications

• HTL or other technologist-level special laboratory certification is required.
• Graduate of a NAACLS accredited histotechnician or histotechnologist program preferred.
• At least three to five years experience in a histology laboratory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide histological services to the Dermatology Department and main Histology Lab.
• Log-in specimens to the computer and perform processing, embedding, sorting, cutting, and staining.
• Assist with quality control, procedural audits, and accreditation preparation.
