Job summary

Inotiv in Boulder, CO is seeking a detail-oriented Histology Technician to support tissue processing in a fast-paced laboratory environment. You will follow SOPs, prepare tissue sections, and ensure quality control across histology workflows.

The role requires at least one year of relevant experience; HS diploma; strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency with MS Office and laboratory equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of relevant industry experience
• High School Diploma or GED, with lab experience preferred
• Required experience must also reflect the Skills and Responsibilities outlined below

Responsibilities

• Process tissue samples according to laboratory protocols
• Embed tissues into paraffin blocks
• Prepare tissue sections via microtomy
• Mount tissue specimens on glass slides
• Examine blocks and slides to identify landmarks to ensure tissue preparation meets requirements
• Introductory knowledge of alternate histology techniques
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Document and maintain study records to comply with company and regulatory requirements
