Medical City Dallas is seeking a Histology Technician to prepare and process specimens for microscopic examination, performing histology and cytology procedures and supporting quality control in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork with pathologists, and strict adherence to department procedures. A high school diploma is required; an Associate's degree is preferred, and one year of clinical lab experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Histology, Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology or Chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process specimens for histology and cytology analysis.
• Perform routine histology procedures including embedding, staining, and slide preparation.
• Ensure accurate sample identification and quality control for all specimens.
• Support pathologists and care team to ensure timely results.
