Histotech OR Histology Technician Opening

Join one of upstate New York's top hospitals, renowned for its health research programs and specialty services that rank among the best in the nation. Services include organ transplant, trauma and burn care, neonatal intensive care, neuromedicine, cardiology, and cancer treatments.

We are seeking to hire permanent, full-time Histotechs or Histology Technicians/Technologists for either full or part-time positions on any shift. The Histotech is responsible for the timely and accurate analysis of tests using moderately complex methods and instrumentation. Reporting results for patient samples is often interpretive. Responsibilities also include instrument maintenance, daily quality control, and adherence to laboratory policies. Applicants must possess a NYS license and an Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or Histology. HT or HTL ASCP certification is strongly preferred.
