NEW Histotech OR Histology Technician Opening at a State-of-the-Art Laboratory in Wisconsin

This laboratory prides itself on using the most innovative technologies and techniques available. It is fully automated, providing more consistent and accurate results, and employs a bar code system to track specimens, reducing errors. The growing laboratory has locations throughout the Midwest and the East Coast, and is now hiring for its Wisconsin-based facility.

This is a permanent, full-time position on either the evening (second) or night (third) shift, with some flexibility. The histotech will be responsible for complex histological procedures such as grossing, cutting, staining, drying, freezing, and preparing tissue specimens for routine and special procedures. Applicants should have HT or HTL ASCP Certification and an Associate's Degree in Histology or a related field. Candidates without certification will also be considered, as the laboratory offers resources to help obtain the ASCP certification.
