Job summary

Clin-Path Diagnostics is seeking a Histology Technician to perform high‑quality histological preparations to aid in pathological diagnosis. The role involves maintaining equipment, documentation, and QC procedures within a compliant laboratory environment.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma, 2+ years microtomy and IHC QC experience, and may hold HT/HTL or QIHC certification. The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to handle emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in microtomy and QC'ing IHCs; Certification preferred (HT/HTL or QIHC)

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality histological preparations to aid in pathological diagnosis.
• Maintains equipment and supplies in clean conditions to avoid contamination.
• Maintains equipment with documentation and reports malfunctions to manager.
• Handle stat requests and respond to emergency situations.
• Performs daily QC documentation, temperature charting and other maintenance as required.
