Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of specialized, complex histological techniques, including immunohistochemical (IHC), pathology molecular, and renal procedures.
• Assist supervisors and team leads with evaluating new instrumentation, methods, reagents, quality control, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and Vantage data management.
• Support team lead with frozen section lab and special procedures such as IHC and renal.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. Current certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is required.
