Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a histology professional to prepare tissue sections for microscopic examination, perform recuts, and ensure specimen integrity in a fast-paced lab in Dallas, TX. You will maintain equipment, adhere to CAP/CLIA regulations, and support quality control in a 3rd shift environment.

Qualifications include an Associate degree or higher in Histotechnology or related science, plus histology experience or a histotechnician training program. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree or higher in Histotechnology or in a chemical/physical/biological science with related training.
• At least 1 year of histology experience within the last 5 years under a board-certified pathologist; or completion of a histotechnician training program of at least 9 months.

Responsabilités

• Prepare tissue sections for microscopic examination and patient diagnosis using embedding and sectioning techniques.
• Perform recuts as requested by a Pathologist.
• Label requisitions, cassettes and slides; affix coverslips.
• Maintain equipment and monitor quality controls; operate and sanitize lab equipment.
