Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Exeter, NH is seeking a histology professional to embed, cut, and stain tissue sections in a fast-paced laboratory. You will perform embedding, microtomy, and staining while maintaining strict safety and quality control standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in microtomy and embedding.
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelors of Science degree and completion of histotechnology program preferred.
• Certification as a histotechnician (HT) or histotechnologist (HTL) by ASCP preferred.
• State licensure, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process through embedding and preparing slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures
• Performs and documents scheduled preventative maintenance
• Recognize when troubleshooting is needed for processing, embedding, cutting, staining
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (flexible)

Full-time: Benefit Eligible
