Job summary

Sakura Finetek USA, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a Histology Research Technician to contribute to tissue-based studies, learn instrument systems, fixation, processing, embedding, sectioning and staining under supervision.

Responsibilities include adhering to GLP, performing histology procedures (grossing, fixing, processing, embedding, microtomy, H&E and IHC stains), documenting results, and supporting product development with team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a histology technician.
• Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Histotechnology or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform histology techniques including cytochemical and immunohistochemical staining.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with TBR and other departments on new product development.
• Reads and executes complex study protocols with supervision.
• Documents results clearly and concisely.
• Performs histology procedures: grossing, fixing, processing, embedding, microtomy, H&E and other stains.
• Supports QA and equipment records; ensures GLP compliance.
