Job summary

Trinity Health seeks a Pathology Technician – Histology to perform tissue grossing, assist with autopsies, and support surgical pathology workflows. You will register patients in Epic, log specimens, and maintain morgue operations while upholding quality and LEAN standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field OR education equivalent that includes 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses OR 24 semester hours of science with chemistry/biology components.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity tissue grossing in the surgical pathology area and assist with autopsies.
• Register patients in Epic and manage specimen logs with accurate information.
• Maintain morgue functionality and support LEAN principles and standard work.
