Role Overview
This role is in the Histology Lab, within the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The Histology Supervisor oversees daily lab operations, manages staff, implements safety and quality programs, and ensures workflow coordination. They supervise tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and analysis, maintaining proficiency in technical procedures to perform routine and specialized tasks. They use independent judgment to resolve problems.
