Pulse Staffing Limited is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Histology to join a busy NHS pathology laboratory in York. This full-time, ongoing position requires HCPC registration and experience in histology, microtomy, and staining techniques.

You will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, stain slides for microscopic examination, and support pathologists in diagnostic reporting. The role demands strong attention to detail and good communication and teamwork.

Qualificações

• HCPC registration with eligible standing to practice histology.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent is required.
• Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory.
• Experience with microtomy and staining techniques.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• NHS experience required.
