Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support histology and assay development in an Assay R&D team. You will process FFPE tissues, assist with H&E staining, and manage imaging and workflows.

The role emphasizes precise documentation and adherence to protocols in a fast-paced lab setting. The position requires hands-on laboratory experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate on-site Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Hands-on laboratory experience gained through employment, coursework, or training.
• Experience using pipettes and basic laboratory techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn laboratory software workflows.
• Ability to work onsite and perform routine laboratory tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform microtome sectioning of FFPE tissue samples.
• Support H&E staining of tissue slides.
• Operate slide-imaging equipment and manage image-processing workflows.
• Organize and track tissue samples, slides, reagents, and supplies.
• Maintain laboratory organization, inventory, and documentation.
• Follow established protocols and document completed work.
• Assist with routine equipment maintenance and general laboratory support.
• Assist with PCR, sequencing, and other molecular biology workflows as trained.
