Job summary

Summit Pathology in Loveland, CO is seeking a qualified Histologist to join our dedicated team. The role involves embedding, microtomy, special staining, immunohistochemistry, and equipment maintenance to ensure timely, high-quality histology preparation.

Applicants should have at least two years of bench experience; new graduates will be considered. ASCP certification is preferred, with strong concentration, good manual dexterity, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities And Duties

Embedding, microtomy, special staining, immunohistochemistry and equipment maintenance to assure timely and high quality preparation of histology specimens.

Applicants will demonstrate competency in using multiple computer systems, practice excellent customer service skills, be willing to work any shift, and demonstrate independent judgement.

Qualifications And Skills

• Two years’ experience at the bench level
• New Graduate from a Histology Program will be considered
• ASCP Certification, preferred
• Must have strong mental and visual concentration
• Good hand/eye coordinationli>
• Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on communication
• Starting pay range for this position: $27-$35 per hour depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
