Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a Histology Technician to support dermatology MOHS procedures, sample preparation, and slide cutting. You will work closely with Providers to ensure precise tissue processing and timely results.

Responsibilities include patient intake, MOHS lab assistance, and maintaining equipment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and compassionate patient service are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least 2 yrs of Dermatology/MOHS experience.
• At least 2 yrs of Histology Technician experience.
• Willingness to travel to local clinics for MOHS procedures.
• Proficient with EMR and basic software packages.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with Provider and support excellent care.
• Perform patient intake and assist MOHS procedures.
• Cut slides for histology analysis.
• Assist in MOHS Lab and prepare materials for the Provider.
• Handle and prepare medical supplies and specimens.
• Maintain clean and organized facility and equipment.

Histology TechnicianThe Histology Technician plays a critical part in preparing, processing, and analyzing tissue samples that support accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in histological techniques, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining precision and accuracy in all aspects of laboratory work.Responsibilities include:Assist the Provider in welcoming the patient and supports the Provider in providing excellent carePatient intakeCutting slidesAssisting in the MOHS LabPreparing materials for the ProviderPreparing and handling medical supplies, instruments and specimensKeeping the facility and equipment clean and tidyOther duties as deemed necessary.Preferred but not necessary:ASCPHT (Histotechnician)HTL (Histotechnologist)Requirements:At least 2 yrs of Dermatology/MOHS experienceAt least 2 yrs of Histology Technician experienceA candidate who will travel to local clinics to assist in the MOHS proceduresEMR experience and fluent in a variety of software packagesOrganization, punctuality, professionalism and a presentable, polished appearanceEagerness to grow and learn with the companyThe ability to work in a fast pace team environment and being able to adjust to different Provider’s styles and preferencesDedication and compassion to patients and being able to deliver exceptional customer service
