Job Title: HiSET Instructor – English (Part-Time, Hourly)

Job Description

We are seeking a certified English teacher to serve as a HiSET Instructor for adult learners preparing for high school equivalency exams. The ideal candidate will have experience in adult education and a solid understanding of the HiSET exam structure, particularly in reading and writing. Responsibilities include delivering targeted instruction, creating lesson plans, and assessing student readiness. Classes are held during the school year with flexible scheduling of 5 to 10 hours per week.

Compensation: Hourly, based on experience starting at $25/hour.

Qualifications

  • Valid English teaching certification (Adult Education or K-12)
  • Experience with HiSET or other high school equivalency preparation preferred
