MetaWealth is an investment platform that tokenizes real estate assets through blockchain technology, transforming physical properties into digital tokens representing ownership stakes. This approach lowers the entry threshold for investors and enhances transparency, security, and efficiency by leveraging smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi) mechanisms.

We are looking for a seasoned and visionary Web3 Engineering Manager & Tech Lead to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of decentralized applications and blockchain infrastructure. This hybrid role demands a unique blend of technical leadership and people management, ideally suited for someone passionate about building in the evolving Web3 space.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and development of blockchain-based applications and infrastructure.
2. Manage and mentor a team of engineers working on Web3 projects.
3. Collaborate with product and business teams to define technical requirements and solutions.
4. Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of blockchain systems.
5. Research and implement new blockchain technologies and protocols.
6. Coordinate with external vendors and partners for integrations and collaborations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Deep expertise in blockchain technologies including smart contract development (Solidity, Vyper), Ethereum (or other EVM-compatible chains), and DeFi protocols.
• Proficiency with development tools such as Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle; and familiarity with off-chain integrations via oracles and APIs.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Rust, or Go.
• Solid grasp of distributed systems, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to lead teams through ambiguity and deliver robust solutions in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
• Experience leading remote or globally distributed engineering teams.
• Familiarity with zero-knowledge proofs, cross-chain interoperability, or wallet infrastructure.
