The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product management and a proven track record in building teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of their innovative SaaS platform.
May 14, 2025 - Opensend is hiring a remote VP, Product. Salary: competitive salary aligned with experience. Location: Northern America.
Job Description: VP, Product
Company: Opensend
Location: North America, Remote
Department: Development
Reports to: CTO & Co-founder, Dahn Tamir
About Opensend:
Opensend is a 50-person, rapidly-scaling, bootstrapped company with an enterprise B2B SaaS data platform gaining lots of VC interest. We’ve grown 5x over the past year through great ideas, great people and hard work, and have acquired close to 1000 customers. To maintain our trajectory, we need a product leader to build a robust product organization and bring several more products to market, quickly.
At Opensend, we turn anonymous website visitors into customers. Our platform reveals actionable identity insights, helping brands unlock first-party data, boost retargeting across channels, and increase customer lifetime value—without relying on form fills or purchases.
The VP Product:
Come turn a great team with a great product into a great product team to carry this growth to even greater heights. The VP, Product, as the beating heart of the organization, will join Opensend to work directly hand-in-hand with the Co-founders with a mandate to build a humming product org within a technical team that has already built a commercially successful, scaling SaaS product. You will inherit a team of three, and work alongside a VP of Engineering and their 15-person team. You will be responsible for scaling the team as Opensend grows.
This needs to be someone who can jump in and start banking wins in a quickly shifting organization / product. You’ll report to the CTO, with the authority of the executive role and the power to move the org, and will succeed with influence and early wins. The CTO, an engineering leader, will be clear with his feedback, and will work hard with you to make you successful. Unlike in more junior roles, you will need to take responsibility for creating a concrete definition of success. Come in with a clear plan to deliver results and impress the socks off everyone at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.
We want to see signals of experience and excellence in:
Domain confidence in Data-as-a-service and B2B SaaS (however, you do not need to be deep into Marketing Tech)
Building the level of processes and documentation that makes a true professional product organization
Setting and selling a clear & compelling vision for a complex product
Navigating the rapid change of growing startups
Leading change effectively, developing buy-in and driving progress
“Managing up” and in all directions, by being a strong partner to engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success/support
Using strong process and communication to integrate and engage different parts of the business to inform and communicate product decisions
Juggling the needs of customers, sales, engineering, and execs
Other Required Experience:
7+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in leadership positions
Demonstrated success building product teams from scratch
Experience with technology-heavy B2B SaaS
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, and Figma
Work with scaling tech companies (preferred)
Familiarity with marketing tech and eCommerce (preferred/nice-to-have)
