Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer for Artificial Intelligence, you are responsible for shaping Rithum’s AI and data strategy, bringing strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and a strong collaborative spirit. In this pivotal role, you will drive impactful solutions in eCommerce and product data optimization, leading the design and implementation of scalable machine learning models, and collaborating cross-functionally to leverage AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to solve complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

1. Lead high-impact AI initiatives aligning with business objectives to deliver client-focused solutions.
2. Design scalable AI solutions, create reliable systems, and mentor team members to maintain high standards.
3. Address complex problems with strategic solutions ensuring robustness and future readiness.
4. Collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, and build strong stakeholder networks.
5. Guide decision-making, shape AI project priorities, and influence global teams.
6. Ensure delivery of scalable solutions that meet business needs and set standards for sustainable systems.
7. Apply AI and ML expertise to develop impactful solutions and promote knowledge sharing.
8. Mentor and develop other engineers within the subject matter expertise.
9. Participate in on-call rotation to support the 'you build it, you own it' mantra.
10. Utilize software development tools including version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks, with primary technologies such as: C#, .NET Core, Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/React, Angular, JavaScript; and secondary technologies like AWS services, Redis, NoSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience developing in Python
• 3+ years’ experience with AWS services
• 3+ years’ experience with AI technologies (PyTorch or TensorFlow), including expertise in machine learning algorithms, NLP, computer vision, and deployment at scale.
• Proven leadership in AI projects and mentoring experience.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms and data systems for feature stores and vector databases.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and experience delivering data-driven solutions.
• Collaborative experience with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, ML, or Statistics.
• Experience developing in C#.
• Data privacy compliance experience (GDPR, CCPA).
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, online marketplaces, or digital advertising.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
