We are looking for an experienced Senior-level Cloud Engineer to build and support all aspects of our platform infrastructure. You will join a team of talented Engineers and Architects to support and enable our software development and machine learning/data teams in delivering cutting-edge features with high speed and confidence through automated and repeatable processes.

Our infrastructure is constantly evolving, leveraging the latest Cloud technology including compute, serverless, database, caching, deployments, and security. If you are passionate about engineering, always looking to improve your mastery, and enjoy working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, you will succeed in this role.

This role requires close collaboration with teams across Canada, the UK, and India. To accommodate time zone differences, you will work from 11 am to 7:30 pm IST.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building, maintaining, scaling, and hardening AWS infrastructure supporting our platform’s current and future needs
• Maintaining and improving the security posture of Loopio’s infrastructure to protect customer data
• Collaborating with InfoSec, Architects, and Engineering teams to find optimal solutions on AWS
• Automating manual tasks to enable the team to focus on security improvements, evaluating new technologies, and launching new features
• Participating in strategic platform and technology decisions, including evaluating new technologies, cost strategies, and process improvements
• Handling project-based work such as software upgrades, centralized logging, automated monitoring, configuration management, load testing, and exploring new tools
• Mentoring and coaching team members, fostering knowledge sharing and candid feedback
• Supporting incident response and on-call rotations
• Enhancing incident response and disaster recovery processes through simulations and planning

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• 5+ years of experience in a high-growth, agile software development environment
• Focus on automation and reducing manual toil
• Leadership qualities, curiosity, and candor
• Ability to operate independently and collaborate across teams
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Route 53, VPCs, etc.) and Azure
• Strong understanding of Immutable Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.)
• Knowledge of best practices for delivering cloud-based managed applications at a global scale (DevOps, SRE, continuous delivery)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, Fargate)
• Passion for continuous improvement and data-driven feedback culture

• Experience building high-performance, high-availability platforms with microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef and Ansible
