Role Description

This role involves managing clinical research and strategy activities primarily related to Labcorp Genetics external and internal research collaborations.

  • Lead multiple strategic research collaborations and ensure company-wide alignment.
  • Drive strategic planning to define research initiatives and publications.
  • Guide the evaluation and prioritization of research studies in the context of products and services.
  • Provide leadership in study design, methodology, and data interpretation.
  • Own the manuscript development process, including overseeing the publication working group.
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive the dissemination of research by presenting data and findings to clients and at conferences.
  • Represent Labcorp Genetics with external groups, including clients and professional societies.
  • Provide input on commercial priorities related to content prioritization and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master’s with 6+ years of experience in genetics, genomics, epidemiology, or a related field.
  • PhD/MD preferred.
  • 6–8 years in clinical research, scientific program management, or medical genetics, with leadership experience.
  • Advanced expertise in research management, strategic planning, and publication development.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to be nimble and strategic in response to shifts in research priorities and needs.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel approximately once a quarter.
